Hand made bespoke Christening Outfits with a Vintage look...

...well it all started in the 60's, while watching my Mum on her old Treadle sewing machine, I was 11 years old and took a great interest in her work. So at School needle work became my favourite subject, just having a scrap of material and producing something as simple as a Cushion Cover or Apron gave me great pleasure.

I continued my love for the subject and my first job, after leaving school, was in a factory making clothes for Marks & Spencer. I then got married, went on to have three beautiful daughters and continued to make clothes, but this time for them. They thought it was cool, as their clothes were a bit different to what you would buy in a shops.

As I got older I could afford to buy my self a new sewing machine and made my Granddaughter a beautiful Christening Outfit, with Diamanté. While at the font, the Vicar made a little comment that he’d never seen an outfit quite so beautiful. Her mum felt so proud. I then went on to make a similar outfit for another Granddaughter, Omitted Diamanté for Pearls and a contrasting Lining.
